Hiking in the Alps

We will hike through beautiful landscapes in the Alps nearby Munich. The event is part of the "CULTURAL PROGRAM FOR INTERNATIONAL RESEARCHERS AND FRIENDS" organized by the TUM International Office.
We will enjoy panoramic views on the alpine tundra, stroll through fairy tale forests, pass by beautiful lakes and see some impressive peaks of the Alpes… For lunch we go to a typical ‘Almhütte’ where we will have a Brotzeit (a meal with bread, cold-cuts, cheese etc.).

The program that has been newly established was specifically designed for all international postdoc researchers, guest lecturers and professors as well as their partners and children. It is aimed at showing you a few more facets of TUM, Munich and Bavaria to help you to feel at home during your stay as well as facilitate the networking among each other and with your German counterparts. Therefore the program is open to everyone who wants to join and if you like and places are available you can also bring your friends along.
